Almost Famous Film Festival The Almost Famous Film Festival provides the independent film community in Arizona and around the country with original challenges, festivals, and events, including the nation's largest 48 Hour Challenge each year in February. Founded in 2005, the A3F is one of the world's largest festivals of its kind. With yearly challenges for filmmakers, actors, writers and crew members, A3F sets the standard for festivals in Arizona, the Southwest, and beyond. Arizona Strong Beer Festival Saturday, February 13 Brought to you by The Arizona Craft Brewers Guild, the event emphasizes craft beer education, the artistry of brewing, and the unveiling of never-before-seen suds. Next year will continue the tradition, albeit on a larger scale, with even the farthest regions of the state catching the buzz. The Strong Beer Festival is the premier event of Arizona Beer Week and is in its 16th year. Arizona Matsuri Friday, February 27 to Saturday, February 28 Celebrate the art and tradition of Japanese culture.
